Convicted felon arrested for Negligent Homicide in March 11 deadly crash



A Fayetteville resident with a long history of felony convictions is facing a charge of negligent homicide for driving while intoxicated when he crashed into a Little Rock man March 11 on Highway 412 near Beaver Lake.


Ricky Dale Skinner,33, who was already on probation after a Class D Felony Conviction from 2019 for Possession of a Controlled Substance, was served with a warrant and booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Friday stemming from the March 11 accident that took the life 0f 33-year-old Little Rock resident Stuart Micky.


Court information reveals Skinner had a blood alcohol concentration above .08%  at the time of the crash. Skinner faces the Negligent Homicide charge as well as a Petition to Revoke.


In addition to Skinner's 2019 drug conviction, he received supervised probation for a 2018 Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons conviction and a Revocation of Probation


He also had a 2014 arrest for Aggravated Assault on a Family Member and spent time in the Arkansas Department of Corrections prison system for a Possession of Counterfeit Controlled Substances conviction in 2004.


Skinner remains behind bars (for the moment) on a $50,000 bond awaiting an arraignment.
