She was known online and to those close to her as “Lady Thor,” a woman with a fiery spirit and a name that suggested perhaps a bit of thunder behind her laughter.
But on a quiet spring day in 2020, Thorina Ann Watson vanished from Booneville, Arkansas—and four years later, her disappearance remains one of the town’s most confounding mysteries.
Born February 19, 1972, Watson stood between 5'5" and 5'8", weighed 110 to 130 pounds, and had brown hair and hazel eyes at the time of the disappearance. S
She embraced the nickname Lady Thor. Her online world echoed with boldness and humor. Then, suddenly, it went still.

According to her daughter, Watson was last seen on April 1, 2020. It wasn’t until July 27 of that year--nearly four months late--that she was officially reported missing. By then, all communication had ceased. Though her Facebook account saw limited posts through May 2020, friends and family said they had not seen or heard from her since early April.
At the time of her disappearance, Watson was reportedly wanted on meth distribution charges and had been labeled an “absconder” by authorities. Some have speculated that she may have been avoiding law enforcement, but those closest to her believe something darker may have occurred.
Online discussions mention a man from Sugar Grove—her boyfriend at the time--who was also linked to another local missing person case. He has since moved from the area.

Despite the occasional ripple of interest online, Watson’s case has seen little formal media attention. There have been no confirmed sightings. No messages. No evidence of where she might have gone.
Just silence.
Her daughter and others who loved her have held onto hope, refusing to let Lady Thor become just another forgotten face in a drawer full of cold case files.
Thorina Ann Watson remains listed as a missing person with the Booneville Police Department. The case number is 20-00280. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities at (479) 675-3508.
Even the smallest tip could bring thunder back to a story that’s grown far too quiet.
