On a quiet Sunday in early March 2026, 23-year-old Jeffrey Ryan Wikinger Luster was last seen in Fort Smith.
Family members reported him missing on March 8 after he failed to return home or make contact as expected. Despite extensive searches and appeals for information, the case remains open more than four months later.
Luster, described as a white male standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair, had no known history of running away or major personal troubles that would explain his sudden disappearance. Authorities with the Van Buren Police Department and local investigators have followed every available lead, including reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing associates, and checking known hangouts in the Fort Smith and Van Buren area.
No signs of foul play have been confirmed, yet the absence of any trace leaves investigators puzzled.
Luster was entered into the NAMUS database as a missing adult with his current age listed at 24. Friends and relatives continue to hold out hope for his safe return, describing him as a young man with his whole life ahead of him.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts on or after March 8, 2026, is urged to contact the Van Buren Police Department at 479 474 1234.
Cold case investigators periodically revisit the file, re-examining every detail in hopes that a fresh tip might finally unlock the mystery of what happened to Jeffrey Ryan Wikinger Luster.
