Cold Case Files: NLR woman with schizophrenia went missing from her mother's home eighteen years ago

In the summer of 2007, 34-year-old Contina Marie Savage vanished from her home in North Little RoK, leaving behind a mystery that has endured for over a decade.
Described as a warm-hearted woman who lived with schizophrenia, Contina was last seen on the evening of June 17 by her mother. The following morning, her mother left for work believing Contina was still asleep--but when she returned, her daughter had disappeared.
No witnesses came forward, no evidence pointed to a clear direction, and no one knows if she left in the night or met with harm. Despite repeated efforts by authorities and loved ones, Contina’s case remains unsolved.
Now, 53 years old if alive, she is listed as missing in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs #MP11744) and is still the subject of an active investigation by the North Little Rock Police Department.
