Clarksville woman killed Tuesday in two-vehicle crash on US Highway 64 in Johnson County
Officials with the Arkansas State Police released information on Thursday on a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday at the intersection of US Highway 65 and Carlton Drive that killed a Clarksville woman and sent a Lamar man to an area hospital.
Forty-two year-old Bee Bee Win was a passenger in a 2007 Honda that was struck n the left side by an eastbound 2008 Chrysler driven by Chales Edwards, 43, of Lamar. The impact sent the Honda off the roadway to the north, crossing the westbound land and coming to rest in the driveway of a private residence.
Win was pronounced dead at the scene. Edwards and a minor drive in the Honda were both transported to Johnson Regional Medical Center for treatment o unspecified injuries.
Corporal David Smothers of the Arkansas State Police noted clear weather conditions and dry roadways at the time of the accident.
