City of Fort Smith Board of Directors: April 14, 2022
The City of Fort Smith Board of Directors will hold a special study session at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Blue Lion, 101 North 2nd Street, to accommodate the following:
Discuss proposed rezoning of 815 South 6th Street to facilitate the relocation of Next Step Homeless Services and its impact on Hope Campus, surrounding businesses, and the city of Fort Smith ~ Ordinance rezoning identified property and amending the zoning map for 815 South 6th Street tabled at the April 5, 2022 regular meeting pending discussion at a future study session ~
Director Lavon Morton contacted the City Clerk’s Office this morning at approximately 8:34 a.m. and requested the aforementioned. Such requires the concurrence of four (4) directors; therefore, all remaining directors were notified. In the order as follows, Directors Andre’ Good, George Catsavis, and Kevin Settle concurred with the request. Although a majority was already obtained, Directors Robyn Dawson and Jarred Rego also concurred with the request. Director Neal Martin did not concur.
