Donald Seymour Payne, 74, whose last posted address was in the 7300 block of Old 12 Cross Road in Chester, remained jailed Friday night of a $15,000 legally sufficient bond on the felony charge.
Payne has a pretty checkered past in addition to his conviction out of Henderson County, Texas on Aggravated Sexual Assault. Dating back to 2009, Payne has arrests and convictions for everything from Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threatening to Criminal Mischief and Possession of a Firearm.
In April of 2021, Payne was arrested for Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member, Terroristic Threatening, DWI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. That case is set for trial in January of 2022 and Payne is currently out on a $50,000 bail awaiting that court date.
