Car collision with semi on SH 22 in Logan County proves deadly to twenty-seven- year-old Paris man

Updated: Aug 1, 2022

Officials with the Arkansas State Police say a deadly collision occurred early Wednesday in the 12000 block of State Highway 22 in Logan County when two vehicles crashed in an attempt to avoid each other just after midnight.

According to an ASP preliminary report, 27-year-old Jesse Dyer of Paris was driving eastbound on SH 22 in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu in Subiaco when he crossed the centerline into the path of an oncoming 2016 International Harvester semi.

The report says Dyer attempted to correct back to his lane just as the westbound truck driver switched over to the eastbound lane in an evasive maneuver to avoid the collision. The vehicles then collided head-on in the eastbound lane of the roadway.

Dyer was pronounced dead at the scene while the unidentified truck driver was not transported for treatment of any injuries.

Trooper Rafael Guerra worked the accident and noted the clear weather and dry roadway at the time of the crash, which resulted in the 300th recorded highway death in Arkansas for the year.

Accidents are very unfortunate and even end up total car loss but what to do with that broken car? The best option is to sell junk car to the scrap removal company. They will give you cash against it also and take away the broken car.

Also if you are going to report on something as serious as this, take your time with it. Don't disrespect the family (my family to be exact) with poor grammar and spelling errors.
