Cane Hill man victim of Saturday two-vehicle accident on State Highway 59

The Arkansas State Police says a Cane Hill man is dead and a resident of Lincoln was sent to a hospital in Tulsa for treatment of injuries after to vehicle collided Saturday morning just before noon on State Highway 59 at the Benton and Washington county line.


Officers say 49-year-old Michael Bryant of Cane Hill was traveling south in Highway 59 in a 2006 Silverado when he crossed the centerline and struck a northbound 2018 GMC Sierra driven by Ivan Cisneros-Ibarra of Lincoln. Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene and Cisneros-Ibarra was airlifted to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of unspecified injuries.


Bryant's death is the 605th Arkansas roadway fatality for the year 2020.
