California felon, habitual offender heading to ADC with ten-year sentence for Battery with a Weapon

A Stockton, California man who has been in the Sebastian County Detention Center since mid-December of last year was sentenced last week to ten years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections with twenty years suspended as a habitual offender on two counts of Battery in the First degree with a Weapon.


Charles Javell Stone, who has an extensive record out of the state of California, had also been charged with Terroristic Threatening but had that charge dropped after the Habitual Offender tag was added to his plea deal bundle.


He is also to have no contact with his victi9ms and make full restitution at $60 per month starting 90-days after his release.


According to information garnered from on ;line sources, the 25-year-old Stone has felony arrests for violent crimes dating back to early November of 2014 when he would have been just 18-years of age.


The arrest from that year alone included car jacking, robbery and resisting arrest and other charges before he moved to Arkansas to continue his criminal ways included False Imprisonment By Violence, Inflicting Corporal Injury On Spouse/Cohabitant, and Disobeying Domestic Relations Court Order, the last occurring in August of Last year.


Other arrests have included Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Possession of Controlled Substance, Vandalism, and a double hand-full of traffic violations.


At the time of his arrest in Sebastian County, Stone was also listed as a Fugitive from Justice in California.
