A 61-year-old Booneville woman involved in a two-vehicle accident back on October 6 succumbed to her injuries 16 days after the crash on State Highway 10 in Greenwood.
The Arkansas State Police posted a report on Friday detailing the accident, which led to the death of Sherry Schultz on October 20 at UAMS-Little Rock.
According to that report, Schultz was westbound on State Highway 10 inside the Greenwood city limits in a 2009 ChevroleHHR when she crossed the center line and crashed head-on into an eastbound 2009 Dodge pick-up driven by 66-year-old David Freeman of Boonville.
Freeman was transported to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith for treatment of unlisted injuries and Schultz was air-flighted to UAMS in Little Rock
Lt. Brad Hobbs of the Greenwood Police Department worked the accident and noted clear weather and drave pavement conditions.
