Booneville 76-year-old man killed in crash along rural stretch of State Highway 10 in Magazine

Police officials in Logan County say a 76-year-old Booneville man died died Wednesday in a crash on Arkansas Highway 10 near Magazine.

John Silva, 76, of Booneville, was westbound in his 1998 Suzuki just before 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon when his vehicle left the roadway near the intersection of Bonne Road , went into a ditch and hit a tree according o an Arkansas State Police preliminary report.

Silva was ejected from the vehicle and killed.

Trooper Tyler Williams reported weather conditions as clear and the roadway dry at the time of the accident.
