A Benton County man was arrested on Friday and charged with three sex crime related violations, according to information from the Benton County Detention Center.
Twenty-one year-old Tyler Dean Hedge faces three felony charges after a warrant arrest on Friday by the Bentonville Police Department. Hedge is charged with Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree, Computer Exploitation of a Child, and Sexual Extortion, according to the booking sheet.
Hedge was also charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Child are class B Sexual Extortion and Computer Exploitation of Class B felonies, while Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree,
Class B felonies are punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Few details are available concerning the arrest with no records available on Court Connect. Given the nature of the crimes the Affidavit for the Warrant has probably been sealed to cloak the identity of the victim.
Hedge remains behind bars on a no-bond hold pending a hearing next week.
