The Bentonville Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash Saturday evening that claimed the life of pedestrian Donald Mclaughlin.
The department reported that Donald Mclaughlin was struck at around 6:40 pm by a 45-year-old Rogers man driving a Tesla at the intersection of NW 12th Street Street and North Walton Boulevard.
Mclaughlin was rushed to an area hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
The driver of the Tesla was not injured.or identified.
Cpl. John Jordan f the Bentonville PD noted clear conditions and a dry roadway at the time of the accident.
