Bella Vista reprobate already facing trial is back in jail on new child sex abuse charges

A 75-year-old Bella Vista deviant who was already facing two counts of Rape and was set for am jury trial on June 29 to face those eight year-old charges was arrested by the Bella vista Police Department on Monday and charged with Sexual Indecency with a Child and Sexual Assault in the Second Degree and remains behind bars on a no-bond hold and a $50,000 Cash/Surety bond.

Cecil Boothe Warren, who is already out on $25,000 bail on the old charges, was arrested in October of last year on a Washington County warrant for crimes that occurred in 2013 when Warren was 66-years old.

The allegations in that case claim Warren engaged in deviant sexual behavior with a child of the age of six or seven when he penetrated the child with his tongue and fingers.

The charges in that case are both Class Y felonies, the most serious crimes in Arkansas not punishable by death. A conviction for a Class Y felony can result in a prison term of ten to 40 years or life.

The newest allegations also involved underaged children, Sexual Indecency with a Child speaks for itself; a charge of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree is most likely when someone engages in inappropriate behavior with a victim under the age of fourteen. Warren was arrested one day after the Benton County warrant was issued by Circuit Judge A,J. Anglin.

The new charges are both Class B felonies p8unishable by 5-20 yea5rs in prison.

No details have been released on either crime beyond the redacted information on Arkansas Court Connect for the 2013 assaults.
