The Arkansas State Police and the Fayetteville Police Department are reporting the death of a 26-year-old Independence County woman in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday in Fayeteville.
According to the ASP preliminary report, Elley Adrianna Lindsey of Batesville was killed Saturday around 8:30 p.m when the 2016 Toyota she was driving northbound on Old Missouri Road near the intersection with East Frazier Terrace exited the roadway and went through a vacant parking lot before overturning several times.
The car then went airborne before striking a tree and coming to rest.
Lindsey was ejected from the car, according to the officer who worked the accident.
The weather was clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident, which resulted in the 126th Arkansas highway fatality of the year.
