ASP report details Saturday accident that took life of 74-year-old Fayettevile man

According to information released by the Arkansas State Police on Tuesday morning, a Fayetteville man died Saturday in a Honda trike crash in Madison county.

The ASP preliminary report says that 74-year-old John l Ermann was killed just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday in an accident on State highway 127 one mile west of State Highway 12 inside the Huntsville city limits.

Ermann was riding a 2014 Honda motorcycle trike on the highway when he left the roadway in a curve. He attempted to bring the vehicle back on the roadway, overcorrected and the motorcycle spun sideways and turned over.

Ermann, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, died at the scene of the crash..

According to Arkansas State trooper senior corporal Mike Morgan the weather was clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
