ASP releases name of Paris man killed Monday in Utility Vehicle accident at SH 309



A 20-year-old Paris man was killed Monday in a one vehicle accident on State Highway 309 near the intersection of Pilot Grove Loop in rural Franklin County. The report was not posted to the ASP website until Saturday morning in order to give officials time to notify all of the next of kin.
The preliminary report says that Logan Alandrake Gann-Cornelius died when the 2003 Saturn he was driving northbound on State Highway 309 went off the road on the east side of the highway. Gann-Cornelius overcorrected and the Saturn then ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
Gann-Cornelius was ejected from the vehicle, which came to rest on its side on the western side of the highway facing northeast.
Corporal Mike Lance of the Arkansas State Police worked the accident, which occurred at 10:50 p.m. and noted the clear weather conditions and dry roadway st the crash scene.
