The Arkansas State Police have released a report concerning the vehicular death of Hunter Morris of Alma on Interstate 40 early Sunday morning.
According to the ASP preliminary report that was posted yesterday, Morris was a passenger in a eastbound 2005 Chevrolet on I-40 near the 12 mile -marker when the vehicle exited the roadway to the right and continued on the shoulder in a southeast direction, striking a road sign and a tree.
Morris was transported to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith where he expired of his injuries.
The accident occurred at 5:30 am and trooper Shawn Ellis noted conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident.
