Kerry Dwayne Gross, a 56-year-old resident of Mena, was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday. . The accident occurred at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Little Hope Road near Scenic River Lane in Montgomery County, according to the Arkansas State Police.
According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Gross was driving a 1998 Pontiac Firebird southbound on Little Hope Road insiude the area of the Oden community when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
The weather conditions at the time were rainy, and the road was wet, which may have contributed to the accident.
Gross was pronounced dead at the scene by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and no additional injuries were reported.
