ASP: Minor motorcyclist hits pickup truck pulling out of a driveway in fatal accident in Centerton

A minor was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Centerton when a motorcycle struck a pickup truck pulling out of a driveway, Arkansas State Police said.

The collision happened at 9:19 a.m. at State Highway 102 and Copper Oaks. A 2012 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle heading westbound on Highway 102 hit a 2023 Ford F-150 that was traveling southbound and attempting to enter the roadway from a driveway.

The motorcyclist, identified only as a minor whose name has not been released, was the only person killed. No injuries were reported among other parties.

Weather was clear and the road was dry at the time. The body was taken to the Benton County Morgue.

Cpl. Billy M. Martin of the Arkansas State Police was the responding officer at the scene.
