Arrest in Johnson County clears a pair of commercial burglaries off investigators list


The arrest of a 31-year-old Johnson County resident earlier in the month has resulted in two felony charges of Commercial Burglary against a Dover man after an investigation by the Pope County Sheriff Office.


Rodney Bridgman was arrested and charged with the burglaries of both Anderson's Propane and Coast to Coast Carports. both located in Knoxville. Bridgeman confessed to both burglaries.


All the stolen property from Anderson's Propane has been recovered. Stolen property from Coast to Coast Carports is still being recovered.


Bridgeman was arraigned by District Judge Sarah Capp. She set his bond at $25,000 cash only for each count, bringing his bond to $50,000 cash total. He remains behind bars as of Monday night.
