Arkansas woman killed in fiery head-on collision south of Broken Bow in McCurtain County

Police officials in southeast Oklahoma say a 29-year-old Arkansas woman died in a fiery head-on crash in McCurtain County early Wednesday morning. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued a report saying a GMC sport utility vehicle driven by Caroline Mauceli of North Little Rock was traveling east on State Highway 3 south of Broken Bow when her vehicle crossed the center line and hit an oncoming semi-tractor around 4:45 a.m. The impact triggered a fire. The truck's driver suffered minor injuries, but Mauceli died at the scene. Investigating Trooper Rocky Green said neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
