Arkansas State Police report details accident that killed 54-year-old Mena man in rural Polk County

The Arkansas State Police has posted a report on a November 24 car accident that occurred on Highway 375 near Meadows Lane in rural Polk County that killed a 54-year old Mena man.
According to the report, Rodger Smith, 54, of Mena, was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy westbound on SH 375 when his vehicle crossed the center yellow line and exited the roadway, striking a tree.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene,
The accident happened at approximately 1:04 PM under clear and dry conditions.
