Arkansas State Police releases information on Saturday deadly motorcycle accident in Clifty

A motorcycle accident claimed the life of one person and left another injured on State Highway 23 near Madison 1000 on Saturday , at approximately 3:05 p.m.
According to the Arkansas State Police, a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by Jason Koeffler, 49, of Eureka Springs, veered into a ditch to avoid a slow-moving vehicle. The motorcycle then re-entered the roadway and landed on its side.
Amanda Stonebraker, 35, of Goff, Kansas, a passenger on the motorcycle, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her body is being held at the Madison County Coroner’s Office, and her next of kin have been notified.
Jason Koeffler, the driver, sustained injuries and was transported for medical treatment. The extent of his injuries remains undisclosed at this time.
The weather was clear, and the road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
Senior Corporal Mike Morgan of the Arkansas State Police investigated the accident.
