Law enforcement officials in Scott County say a 24-year-old man has been charged with first degree murder in the August 2nd death of 3-month-old Kyser Fry.
Rodger Sorg is being held at the Scott County Detention Center awaiting arraignment on the felony charges. The Mansfield Police department asked the Arkansas State Police to investigate the death after they were called to a to a home on Huntington Avenue by the child's mother, Samantha Dotson.
Dotson told investigator she discovered the child's unresponsive when she returned home from work.
The 3-month-old and two other children were in Sorg's care at the time of the death.
