Arkansas State Police identifies 26-year-old victim from Tuesday incident on State Highway 271


A fatality accident we first told you about on Tuesday on State Highway 271 in south Sebastian County resulted in the death of a 26-year-old Fort Smith man according to information from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety. Officers with the Arkansas State Police say that Taylor Lee Fraley was the driver of the 2018 Suzuki motorcycle that was traveling southbound on Highway 271 that crashed near County Road 188. Eyewitnesses accounts of the incident say Fraley was fleeing from County deputies after an attempted traffic stop on Cavanaugh road in Fort Smith. According to the ASP report, as Fraley approached County road 188 the Suzuki left the roadway along the west shoulder and struck the passenger side of a 2016 Dodge that was traveling north on the county road. Fraley was pronounced dead at the scene according to information from the Sebastian County Coroner's office. Trooper Landon Reather of the ASP noted the conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the fatal accident.
