Arkansas State Police delayed report says ATV accident killed minor on Old Cricket Rod in Omaha

A delayed posting by the Arkansas State Police detailed an ATV accident that occurred last week in a rural part of Boone County that killed an unidentified minor. 

The report, which was delayed for notification of next of kin, said two four wheelers or westbound on Old Cricket Road in Omaha on June 8 at approximately 2:34 p.m.  when the the driver of vehicle one tried to overtake vehicle two and they collided. 

The driver of vehicle one was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Greene County Medical Examiner's office. 

Investigating officer Deputy Nathan Jones of the Boone County Sheriff's office said that the weather was clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
