Alma man remains behind bars on $25,000 bond charged with Sexual Assault in the Second Degree
A 33-year-old Alma man who was arrested Friday for Sexual Assault in the Second Degree remains behind bars in the Crawford County Detention Center as of 10 p.m. Saturday night.
Jeremy Ross Durkin of Alma was booked into the CCDC at just after 3 p.m. on Friday after his arrest by the Ctr9aword County- Sheriff Office. The charge he faces is a Class B Felony, punishable by 5-20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $15,000.
The Class B designation is usually associated with sexual contact with someone who is disabled, mentally incompetent or under the age of fourteen if the offender is over the age of eighteen.
Durkin faces a $25,000 legally sufficient bond before he can be released
