Due to a delay in the notification of the next of kin, the Arkansas State Police withheld public details of a crash last Saturday that took the life of a Tulsa man in Pope County.
According to the ASP report released on Wednesday, 53-year-old David Porter Oberle of Tusay was killed at 4:30 am on December 17 when the 2022 Polaris off-road vehicle he was driving on State Highway 7 in Dover over0circted after traveling left of center, and went into the ditch on the right side of the highway.
The OTR partially tuned over before coming to rest. Oberte was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pope County Coroner's Office.
Deouty Hunter Ply with the Pope County Sheriff Office noted clear weather and dry road conditions at the time of the incident.
