An Alabama man who is wanted in connection with numerous homicides is being sought after by the Arkansas State Police and other local law enforcement agencies.

The Arkansas Department of Public Safety released a news release on Wednesday, stating that Stacy Lee Drake, 50, of Birmingham, Alabama, is thought to be armed and dangerous.

He was last spotted outside a motel in Morrilton.

According to the agency, Drake is wanted in relation to two distinct carjackings that resulted in three homicides in Oklahoma. According to the news release, he is also wanted separately on many felony warrants from various jurisdictions, where he is accused of murder, carjacking, and aggravated robbery.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies from the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office responded to a business in Gans, Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered.

The OBSI stated in a news statement that "both sustained injuries consistent with homicide."

Drake was recognized as a person of interest as they were examining the site, and the car he had taken was found in Morrilton on Tuesday night, according to the OBSI. Birmingham was the last known address for him.

According to information gleaned from the OSCN court information out of Oklahoma, Drake also has a fourteen-year-old warrant out of Texas County, Oklahoma for a March, 2010 armed robbery out of that jurisdiction.

According to the ADPS, if someone spots Drake, they should dial 911 right away instead of approaching him.
