A one-vehicle accident just after 7 am Friday morning on I40 near the 33-mile-marler in Franklin County took the life of a Hoover, Alabama man according to information released by the Arkansas State Police.
According to the preliminary accident report filed by the Arkansas State Police, 47-year-old Jason Dodd Price of Hoover was driving a 200 Honda westbound on Interstate 40 just inside the Franklin County line when he ran off on the shoulder of the road.
Price overcorrected and the vehicle skidded into the median before striking a tree on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Investigating trooper James O. Ray noted clear weather and a dry roadway at the time if the crash.
