Georgia Highway Patrol officials identify local residents involved in Thursday crash
Officials with the the Georgia State Patrol have identified a number of area residents those who were involved in a fatal wreck on I-75 North in Henry County, Georgia on Thursday that killed a 10-year-old girl and led to major delays on both sides of he interstate.
Angelica Ballinas, 10, died after being ejected from a Mercury Mountaineer, the GSP said. Eight others were also ejected from the SUV and transported to different hospitals, including three who were flown.
The driver, Sonia Del Carmen Cabrera Benitez, 31, of Fort Smith,and Maria Olimpia Rivas Quevedo, 46, of Van Buren were taken to Atlanta Medical Center, the GSP said.
Enilsa Judith Revolorio Rivas, age unknown; Christopher Grandados-Cabrera, 11; Daira Grandados-Cabrera, 10; Natalia Gonzalez-Cabrera, 5; Esau Ballinas, 16; and Joselin Ballinas, 9, were all taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Their conditions were not released.
