Oklahoma Report: Lincoln County 'mother' to be charged in four-month-old son's death
Officials in Lincoln County expect to file first degree murder charges Monday on an Agra woman who police say caused the death of her four month old son.
Amber Ford stands accused of causing injuries to the baby that resulted in his death earlier in the month. Police say says the baby’s father became worried when the infant became sick when he went in to feed the child and the child started getting sick
The injuries appeared to have been inflicted sometime before the child became sick.
The autopsy reveled the child had a head injury, a severe hematoma near the front of his skull, rib fractures -- including acute rib fracture and fractures in various stages of healing -- and he had injuries to his pancreas and soft tissue injuries to his neck.
Agra Police started the investigation, and employees from the DA’s got Ford to admit to causing some inflicting some various injuries.
She is the only suspect in the case.
